KT Series Thin Section Taper Roller Bearings

KT series thin section tapered roller bearings are primarily designed for radial load applications. These bearings can accommodate a reasonable amount of axial load due to their contact angle of approximately 12° under axial load.

Tapered roller bearings consist of a cup and cone arrangement. The cup forms the outer ring, while the cone assembly consists of an inner ring, rollers, and a cage. The projection lines of the rolling paths converge at a common point on the bearing axis defined by the contact angle α (apex A, see Figure 1), providing true rolling motion and thus low friction moments during operation.

KT series tapered roller bearings can be customized to meet specific application needs.
