Radial spherical sliding bearings

Radial spherical sliding bearings have an inner ring with a spherical convex outer surface and a corresponding spherical but concave inner surface on the outer ring. Their designs are particularly suitable for bearing arrangements where alignment movements between the shaft and bearing need to be accommodated, or where oscillating or repetitive bending or turning motions are expected at relatively slow sliding speeds, often under heavy loads.
